You choose when a design leaves your device

Personal downloads stay local

Text, icons, uploaded PNG/JPG/JPEG or SVG artwork, previews, print checks, STL files, and 3MF files are prepared in your browser. Choosing or converting artwork does not by itself send that file or design to Oceantide3D. Temporary working data is held in browser memory, and an unfinished design may remain in browser storage until you delete it or clear that storage.

Optional Save for Etsy

If you expressly consent and choose Save secure copy, the approved preview, printable model files, normalized artwork contours, and necessary design settings are sent to private hosted storage so Oceantide3D can retrieve the version associated with your order. The original uploaded PNG, JPG, JPEG, or SVG file and raw SVG markup are not included in the package.

The server records the authoritative expiry time. A saved design that has not been connected to an order cannot be retrieved after 10 calendar days and is queued for removal. Physical cleanup runs during secure-storage activity and owner maintenance; a failed removal is recorded for a safe retry.

Information in a secure copy

The optional package contains the design reference, design settings, printable files, processed contours, preview, validation information, timestamps, and package-integrity information. This is used to retrieve, verify, adjust, and manufacture the design requested through Etsy. Limited security and operational logs may be created to prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect saved designs.

Your consent and management token

The optional save requires an unchecked express-consent box. After saving, you receive a separate management token that can inspect or delete the saved copy before it expires. The design reference alone does not provide public access. Keep the management token private: only a one-way hash is stored and the original token cannot be recovered.

Access and service providers

Authorized Oceantide3D personnel can access saved packages through an owner-only area protected by account authentication and server-side authorization. Hosting and infrastructure providers process stored data and requests to operate the service. Information may therefore be processed outside Newfoundland and Labrador or outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of that location.

Safeguards

The service uses access controls, short-lived owner editing sessions, private-object authorization, size and request limits, integrity checks, and restricted same-site save requests. No internet service or storage system is risk-free, and these measures do not guarantee absolute security.

Browser storage, cookies, and analytics

The customer designer uses browser storage to keep an unfinished design on the same device. The owner-only area uses the hosting platform's account session. The hosting platform may provide the owner with aggregate service and traffic information as part of operating the site. This application does not add a third-party analytics SDK, advertising tracker, or advertising profile.

The optional Buy Me a Coffee support button appears on normal public-facing pages and loads a small script, font, and image from Buy Me a Coffee's content-delivery hosts. It is not shown in owner, private-package, authentication, or maintenance experiences. Its support page is loaded in a frame only after you activate the button. The widget writes a one-day functional visited cookie on this site so its introductory message is not repeatedly shown. If you dismiss the support button in the Designer, Oceantide3D stores that workspace-only choice in sessionStorage for the current browser session; it may still appear on another normal public page. If you choose to visit or use Buy Me a Coffee, that service processes the interaction under its own privacy policy. Supporting Oceantide3D is entirely optional and does not unlock or restrict any designer feature.

Etsy, payment, and other services

The Etsy links leave this website. This application does not collect or process payment-card information. Etsy handles orders, payment, shipping, and Etsy Messages under its own privacy practices. Information also leaves your device when you send a design reference or downloaded file through Etsy, email, or another service.

To ask what personal information is held, request access or correction, ask for deletion where applicable, make a privacy complaint, or report a copyright concern, contact support@oceantide3d.ca. Reasonable identity verification may be required before private information is disclosed or changed.
